Galvanic Skin Therapy vs. Photon LED Rejuvenation
Are you looking for a way to look years younger by reducing damage done to your skin and tightening areas that make you look older due to unsightly wrinkles? Fortunately, science has developed two methods of taking years off of your skin with galvanic skin therapy and Photon LED rejuvenation.
Galvanic Skin Therapy
Galvanic skin therapy uses electrical current to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by tightening facial skin. The device used, which is about the size of an electric shaver, is rubbed against the skin using a conductive gel and presses a low voltage DC current into the skin. This current modifies the electrical channels in the skin, rejuvenating their appearance. Treatments are painless and take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
The primary benefit of galvanic skin therapy is improved oxygenation and circulation in the treated areas. According to experts, the charge given off by the galvanic device increases the efficacy of the products used in the course of the treatment and brings about an elevated level of nourishment to the skin.
Galvanic therapy treatments draw toxins out of the skin by using negatively charged ions to encapsulate these impurities. Once these toxins are encapsulated, positively charged ions draw them out of the skin leaving it rejuvenated, with its dull and lifeless appearance a thing of the past. Once these impurities are gone, the beneficial effects of the treatment gels can penetrate the skin where it can do the most good as opposed to many treatment methods that go no further than the surface of the skin.
Galvanic skin therapy units can be purchased for in-home use as well as used in a spa environment. If you are looking for a home use galvanic facial device, I recommend Fyola Lite
Photon LED Therapy
Photon LED therapy is a medical procedure instead of a purely cosmetic one. Unlike galvanic skin therapy, Photon LED therapy uses three different colored LED lights to treat inflammation of the skin as well as acne. These three lights: green, red, and blue, each contribute to a different phase of treatment. The green light is good for mixed types of skin and is a calming light that reduces pain. The red light penetrates the skin from 8 to 10 millimeters, improving circulation and relieving inflammation. The blue light is recommended for sensitive and oily skin. Its strong anti-bacterial properties make it an excellent tool to fight acne and other rashes.
Besides the different purposes of these treatments, galvanic skin therapy and Photon LED therapy is used differently as well. Galvanic skin therapy should be used by only a person who is licensed to use it. This is most notably a person with the appropriate licensing. Photon LED therapy can be used at home by a non professional using an Fyola device.
Why NOT have both skin care technologies: Photon Rejuvenation and Galvanic Treatment
Net Results: Beautiful, Healthy Skin
The good news for each of these treatment methods is that both can be very effective in the treatment of their respective skin problems. Of course, just as is the case with many medical procedures, there can be after-effects of the treatments. Fortunately, these are minor in both cases and can usually clear up without further treatment. Time does all the healing.
